The location is great and the room was fine. We liked the non- carpeted flooring and the minibar. The "flat screen TV" was actually the size of a computer display and was not "smart". The wifi, at least in our room, didn't work, kept disconnecting. The breakfast very good and reasonably priced. We were grateful for the Luzern guest card provided by the hotel.

Wir haben insgesamt einen angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel gehabt. Das Zimmer war schön, geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen hat uns das freundliche Personal sowie die liebevolle Geste, dass die Betten jeden Abend gemacht wurden – das hat für eine heimelige und willkommene Atmosphäre gesorgt. Was uns jedoch weniger überzeugt hat, war der deutliche Preisanstieg im Vergleich zum Vorjahr, insbesondere da das Frühstück nicht mehr inbegriffen war. Zudem fiel uns auf, dass an einigen Stellen gespart wurde, was sich leider auf die Qualität des Aufenthalts auswirkte. Ein Beispiel dafür ist die Tee- und Kaffeestation, die es letztes Jahr noch auf unserem Stockwerk gab. Auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass es nun nur noch eine Station gibt, die während der Fasnacht sogar ganz entfernt wird. Das fanden wir als Gäste unverständlich – eine Verlagerung nach oben wäre eine bessere Lösung gewesen. Ein weiteres Manko war der geringe Wasserdruck in der Dusche. Für Personen mit langen und dichten Haaren ist es nahezu unmöglich, diese gründlich zu waschen. Ich vermute, dass hier Wasser eingespart werden soll, allerdings führt dies eher dazu, dass man länger duschen muss, was letztlich keinen Vorteil bringt. Für mich persönlich ist das leider ein entscheidender Nachteil, weshalb ich das Hotel in Zukunft wohl nicht mehr wählen werde. Schade, dass die Qualität durch solche Einsparungen leidet – ansonsten wäre das Hotel wirklich eine tolle Wahl.

Wenn die Preise schon steigen, sollte die Qualität sonst nicht darunter leiden. Die Kaffe/Teetation wurde beispielsweise entfernt. Das Frühstück war nicht mehr inbegriffen, aber der Hotelpreis wurde erhöht. Das ist schade.

Overall experience was lovely. I got in pretty late and was quickly shown to my room and the service at breakfast was incredible. The front desk also helped arrange a transfer for the short trip to the train station.

Visiting Lucerne during the Christmas holiday was magical!! The old town where we spent most of our time was so walkable and easy to get around. Walking to the train station from the hotel was so easy--we took a couple of day trips out of town. Your hotel is so centrally located which made our walks around town so easy! We would definitely recommend your hotel to anyone who wishes to visit Lucerne!!

Disappointing. We stayed in 2017 and loved it but this visit was disappointing. Access to our room involved a lot of stairs, the decor and furnishings were old, and the hot tap water was tepid. When we complained about the water we were told to run it for ten minutes ! Location and food were good but we will not stay here next time.

Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren hauptsächlich wegen der guten Lage in den wilden Mann. Allerdings merken wir das die Leistungen des Hauses merklich nachlassen. Wir haben seit Jahren das gleiche Zimmer und hier hat sich nichts geändert .Das Bett ist alt und die Matratzen verbraucht ! Minibar und tv total veraltet, ebenso die Liege und die beiden Sessel . Im Bad funktioniert die Heizung neben der Dusche nie, und auch die Waage nie ??????? Das Frühstück hat sich die letzten Jahre konstant verschlechtert! Am Büffet steht eine Platte für Wurst mit einer Plastikglocke ! Hier wird nichts aufgefüllt fast immer leer, oder 2 bis3 Scheiben Fleischwurst oder Paprikawurst . Die Wurst wurde von uns mehrfach reklamiert da sie sauer war. Die Flaschen mit den Getränken Wasser, Orangensaft und Sekt sind meistens leer und werden nicht nachgefüllt! Einzig das Brot ist sehr gut. Wir haben vor 2 Jahren schon einmal an Herrn Affolter auf die Problematik hingewiesen , woraufhin Besserung zugesagt wurde. Allerdings hat sich alles vor allem beim Frühstück weiter verschlechtert ??????? Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht ! Viele Leute kommen hauptsächlich wegen der guten Lage des Hotels.
