The name says it all: in our gourmet restaurant, our speciality is French cuisine with a slight Asian touch.
Our guests come here to truly savour their food, even feast to their hearts' content. With its elegant ambience and cordial service, you're sure to have a wonderful time.

We prefer to cook with regional products. We combine these with flavours, ideas, and ingredients from all over the world to produce dishes and creations that are characteristic of the Sauvage restaurant and the Wilden Mann.

Sascha Behrendt has been our head chef since April 2022. Born in Berlin, he has made a name for himself as a gourmet chef in Switzerland and Germany over the past few years. He arrived at the Wilden Mann with 15 Gault Millau points to his name. As an experienced top chef, he will take our cuisine to a new level, giving it his own special twist. Now that's something to look forward to!

Things are always that bit livelier in the Burgerstube. You can just imagine how the citizens of Lucerne once raised their glasses to good business deals here. In 1908 the main parlour was refurbished in neo-Gothic style: dark wood with scrolls and bull's-eye panes. We serve just the right dishes to match: local, traditional, home-style fare - prepared with great fondness. Here you will experience Lucerne at its most authentic - the way our ancestors knew it. But did they really eat this well back then?

It's not a mirage: our terrace may be easily overlooked from down below, but once people have discovered it they truly adore it. After all, what can be more beautiful than a mild summer evening spent outdoors? And if you add to that a fine meal or a nice glass of wine, the world is perfect – up here in among the old town rooftops, looking down onto Musegg Wall. And unlike other terraces, no summer downpour will spoil your enjoyment. On the contrary: after all, what would an oasis be without water?
